Mailman is free software for managing electronic mail discussion and e-newsletter lists. Mailman is integrated with the web, making it easy for users to manage their accounts and for list owners to administer their lists. Mailman supports built-in archiving, automatic bounce processing, content filtering, digest delivery, spam filters, and more. Complete details about the Mailman software can be found here.
This button allows you to access the Mailman admin interface. This link has been added for your convinience, but in practical terms you should never use it unless you really know what you are doing there. Please use the BlueOnyx GUI at Site Management > Mailing Lists to add or delete mailing lists instead.
Mailman has a daemon, which needs to run in order for mailing list messages to be processes. You can enable or disable this service here. The command line command to stop, start or restart Mailman is: /etc/init.d/mailman stop|start|restart
The administrative functions of Mailman are protected with an automatically generated password. This textfield shows the password that was generated for this server upon initial setup.
