Query Schedule: Change how frequently the Software Updates server is checked for new or updated software packages.
Software Notification Light: Change what type of new software will activate the Software Notification Light, and if applicable, what type of new software will appear in notification emails.
Auto Update Packages: This allows you to specify which Packages you want to install automatically once updates to them are made available on NewLinQ. The NewLinQ Package will always update automatically. Other Packages can optionally be selected for automated updates as well. But please be advised that certain Packages might (upon automated install) need additional steps to function properly. Or can cause outages to critical server services during or after the install. Especially PHP can potentially cause service interruptions during automated updates. Therefore use caution to only enable Auto Updates for Packages that tie into important services. We try our best to make Package installs seamless and service interruption free. But we can't guarantee this for each and every release.

Software Updates Servers: Enter the URLs of server locations to query for new software and updates. The URL of the default server location is newlinq.blueonyx.it.
HTTP proxy:Port: Enter the proxy server and port for HTTP queries if a proxy server is needed to reach outside your firewall. Example: proxy.example.com:8080.
FTP proxy:Port: Enter the proxy server and port for FTP queries if a proxy server is needed to reach outside your firewall. Example: proxy.example.com:8080.
Packages Must Be Authenticated: If enabled, Software Updates will only install packages that have passed an authentication check.
